NYC family office of ~200 people seeking Family Office Director. Salary up to 100k plus disc bonus.
Provide leadership and administrative support to a multigenerational office serving over 200 family members and their various organizations.
Assist with meetings and events
Overseeing customer service functions
Managing department fee revenue, budget, and monthly financials
Producing Family-related publications and materials
Supervising Family Files and Security departments
Liaising with building and family-owned company management regarding the maintenance and care of the Manhattan-based office.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:
Event planning
Working with high net worth individuals
Nonprofit sector exp.
Staff management experience
Depth around developing written communications for numerous high level executives and high net worth individuals.
Excellent communications skills, including taking and writing of minutes; office and facility management, and financial administration. Office relocation experience a plus.
-Strong computer skills – experienced with Word, Excel, Adobe, Publisher, online web-based survey software (i.e., Survey Monkey)
-Minimum four-year college degree; ten years professional experience
-Experienced manager, one who works collaboratively and has the ability to successfully manage employees (staff of 4), projects and transitions
-Experience working with diverse skill sets and backgrounds; is a consensus builder
-Has a diplomatic and mature disposition
-Embraces project opportunities; is innovative and a self-starter
-Excels in multi-tasking, with a strong ability to set priorities
-Exercises good judgment, knowing when and when not to consult others
-Exercises the highest level of discretion and respects privacy
-Point person for all levels of staff; works well with Senior Professionals
-Able to organize and facilitate meetings with various types of individuals and groups
