I hope you are doing well, we worked together after my early retirement from HP. I've been meaning to reach out to you to let you know that I got a job at Saks Fifth Avenue earlier in the year. I attended the workshops that you lead at the church in Ridgewood and they helped me narrow down what would work for me and what I wanted - a job posting came along and it was a match. The hiring cycle only took a couple weeks.
Saks is looking for a Mid-Sr level Business Analyst to work on saks.com and saksoff5th.com. The position will be in NYC at 5th/49th across from the flagship store. it's a nice company to work for, although recently bought by Hudson Bay Company (Canadian based retailer with a long history), so there will be some transition going on over the next year. The people are friendly and they care about creating a good ecommerce site, the site is often recognized by the industry for its design and functionality.
The team uses Agile methodology and for saks.com all the development is done locally (in the building!). For saksoff5th.com the development is offshore with Sapient as the partner, but that should not be a long term situation.

The candidate should be good at writing user stories, leading large groups through requirement gathering (it's a very democratic environment), a foundation in usability/information architecture is valued, but there is a team here that does the UX design – the BA focuses on requirements and high-level visualization.
Resumes can be sent to me and I will forward them to the hiring manager (my manager). The new hire would be working on my team along with one other BA and our manager.
