Basic Qualifications:
Title: Compliance Officer
Client Start Date: March 3, 2014
Contract Length: Estimated August 2015
Work Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ
Job Description:
* Compliance or Legal experience required in Mortgage Originations and/or Operations
* Review of documents in Compliance Approval Process (CAP) queue; including disclosures, advertising, business line procedures and other collateral materials to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as applicable.
* Perform research related to federal, state or local law or regulations and prepare memos as directed by Primary contact.
* Other business as usual activities as directed by Primary Contact.
* Knowledge of federal regulations related to mortgage and consumer lending, including but not limited to RESPA, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, SCRA, FACTA, SAFE Act and Flood
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Proficient in computer use, including the ability to navigate and quickly adapt to using software utilized by the Compliance Department
