Position: System Administrator III
Terms: Contract
Duration: 3 months
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Description:
The resource in this position assists in the assessment, design,
implementation, maintenance and support of SAP application security for
Revenue's Integrated Tax System (ITS) SAP system.
Work includes IT security administration in the implementation and
maintenance of the security roles and profiles for Revenue employees and
all users of the SAP system; reviewing all security role changes to the
production environment and ensuring all role changes are communicated to
the business operations teams and end users.
In conjunction with the ITS Technical and Functional teams, work also
includes coordinating SAP support pack updates and the testing and auditing
of the security roles; and providing knowledge transfer to IT Security
Administrators.
The individual will also provide mainframe security administration and will
maintain accounts to applications including IMS, DB2 and CICS. The
individual will analyze and resolve problems related to mainframe access
control, user administration, and operating level system security; and
document authorized changes and upgrades.
The individual will provide security administration of user and group
objects in an enterprise Active Directory structure, and assisting with
security audits of applications, operating systems, and procedures.
The individual in this position can be expected to provide on-call security
support.
The individual needs to be highly organized, a multitasker, and willing to
learn various computing platforms and methodologies.
Required Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and customer focus.
Administer & maintain user & group objects in the enterprise Active
Directory structure
Maintain procedures to document and support the Department's information
security program and provide knowledge transfer to agency IT adm
Review system reports to monitor and maintain system settings and controls.
Administer and maintain security roles and profiles in a SAP environment.
Analyze and resolve problems related to access control, user
administration, and operating level system security in a SAP environment.
Desired Skills:
Maintain appropriate security configurations and options for SAP
environments.
Administer and maintain mainframe security including user configurations
for IMS, DB2, CICS
Analyze and resolve problems related to access control, user
administration, and operating level system security in a mainframe
environment.
Assist with testing and implementation of enhancements for SAP.
Assist with the development of standard operating procedures to perform SAP
production support activities
Assist with coordination, implementation and testing of SAP support pack
updates involving system security or role performance.
Assist with administration and configuration of VPN accounts and software
for remote access
Assist with administration and configuration of laptop encryption accounts
and software
Assist with security audits of applications, operating systems, and
procedures.
Review application design to determine proper interface with security
software & to ensure appropriate data security safeguards & standards
Experience with IBM Tivoli Identity Manager
