Job Description:
Greenwich, Ct area client creates innovative, entertaining, interactive
betting games and rich content for Casinos, Lotteries, Keno and wireless.
Beyond start-up phase, (~10 yrs in existence) the time has come for this
client to hire a potential Controller, Accounting Manager overseeing a
small staff of 2, 3. Candidate will assist in bringing the accounting,
reporting and tax function in-house from external CPA firm. Work closely
with CEO, CFO and COO in terms of presenting periodic financial
statements and assist in budget and planning, cash management.
Required:
· Minimum 4 year degree Accounting, Finance. CPA or MBA a plus
· 7-15 yrs overall experience with emphasis in Accounting
aspects and proven Financial Statement prep
· Smaller service or consumer-related entity experience (under
$100M in revenue) preferred
· International exposure a plus
· Financial systems (Quickbooks, Peachtree, Excel, etc) experience
No recent/past CFO's though, please, and I'm not interested in
"Fortune-sized" candidates…
Compensation range: $90-110K plus bonus…
Why this position:
To do things in house for the first time- software decisions, set up
internal books, records, etc.
Work closely with owners and prime decision makers
Low risk and potential high reward if they go public someday.
