Staff Accountant Position
Private Equity Group : Real Estate Fund
New Brunswick, NJ
Our client, a well respected Investment Fund, is seeking a driven and articulate Staff Accountant for the Real Estate Fund team in their Private Equity Group. This person will be reporting directly to the team Manager with
exposure to various business heads. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills is a must.
Requirements:
* Accounting Degree
* CPA in process
* 2+ years of experience with atleast 1 year of public accounting experience
* Private Equity experience is big plus
* Investran experience is also a plus
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the Monthly/Quarterly Close
* Review the property level books and records and communicate findings to the deal team and property managers
* Assist property managers with opening balance sheet entries/set up of books upon acquisition
* Ensure information flows correctly from the investments through the holding companies to the Fund
* Coordinate wires to ensure timely closing of acquisitions
* Assist with the valuation of the Investments
* Review/Prepare Capital Call and Distribution notices to the investors

Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee IT Strategic Programs
relating to integration and consolidation of diverse systems.
Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective working
relationships with IT counterparts, customers and vendors and effectively
managing implementations and the utilization of resources to achieve optimum
performance ensuring benefits are realized within timeframes anticipated.
This is a fulltime employee position in Danbury, CT.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and 7-10 years of IT job-related experience
* Minimum of five years in a Project Management role following formal PM
processes
* Familiar with SDLC and different delivery methodologies
* Experience managing systems implementation / integration projects, (NOT
software development or infrastructure)
* Must have strong business analysis, communication and organizational
skills
* Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to
effectively drive project management activities to completion
* Strong track record of effectively leading others in a Matrix environment
and establishing priorities in order to meet customers' expectations
* Strong relationship management, conflict resolution, and excellent
organizational and communication skills required
* Clinical background and/or healthcare system implementation experience is
desired

. Experience in the preparation of other regulatory body required reports to
include FFIEC 002 (Call Report), FR Y-9C and FR 2900 to include the
preparation, review, and analysis of regulatory capital calculations.
. Deep knowledge of appropriate financial regulations.
. CPA certification is highly desirable.
. Exceptional technology skills to include advanced level capabilities with
MS Office applications including Visio, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
. Analytic ability to identify problems and arrive at practical solutions.
. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization's
regulatory teams.
. Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
. Willingness and ability to travel preferred
