The largest, most well-regarded provider of hotel laundry services in the tri-state area serving the hotel industry for 25 years has the following position available for well-qualified individuals in our Northern NJ office:
Accounts Receivable Manager:
An experienced hands-on Accounts Receivable Manager to control and manager the accounts receivable function.
Duties:
· Prepare and transmit customer invoices and statements for all services performed.
· Process all daily cash, bank wire and credit cards remittances received and monitor daily customer activity.
· Work with Sales Team to resolve customer issues.
· Identify and implement improvements to enhance customer service.
· Investigate circumstances of customer non-payment, negotiate and resolving issues to expedite customer payment.
· Analyze and resolve customer chargebacks and short payments.
· Perform forecasting of customer cash payments.
· Updates receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions.
· Maintain customer accounting ledgers by posting daily and monthly account transactions and reconcile Accounts receivable activity on a daily basis.
· Ensure the accounts receivable DSO objectives and metrics are met.
· Responsible for the timely and accurate recognition of revenue in compliance with contract terms.
· Prepare monthly reports for management and banks.
· Prepare sales tax reports.
Minimum Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:
· Minimum 4 years Accounts Receivable Collection experience
· Knowledge of Microsoft products and NAV Software a plus
· Accounting knowledge
· Strong account reconciliation skills
· Experience working with chargebacks and short payments
· Detailed orientated
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Excellent oral and written communications skills are required
· Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
· Ability to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-moving environment.
· Ability to manage work in an organized and efficient manner, using effective prioritization skills.
· Self-motivated and driven to achieve.

An experienced hands-on Senior Accountant to prepare financial statements and ensure company accounting procedures conforms to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The position will report to the Controller and will be responsible for essential processing and maintenance of the company General Ledger.
Duties:
· Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements.
· Maintain general ledger.
· Analyze financial information by developing spreadsheet reports.
· Prepare and review general ledger entries.
· Reconcile General Ledger Accounts.
· Month End closing completion within 5 business days
· Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and provide analysis on information which could include supporting revenue schedules, and expense review.
· Distribute and communicate financial results.
· Responsible for the monthly revenue reconciliation as well as ensure accurate recognition of revenue in compliance with contract terms.
· Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly Management Executive Committee variance reports.
· Assist in the creation of the budget plan and quarterly forecasts.
· Monitor daily cash receipts and disbursements.
· Prepare and record journal entries for various accruals, depreciation, etc.
· Prepare bank reconciliations
· Develop new analysis reports.
· Assist in various periodic audits.
Minimum Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
· Minimum 5-7 years of general accounting experience in accounting and financial operations
· Knowledge of Microsoft products and NAV software a plus
· Strong financial background
