Global specialty chemical organization is looking for a Production Engineer for their production facility in Baton Rouge, LA. The position is responsible for daily production engineering support, solves immediate issues with production unit, verify production, optimizes production mix and operating efficiencies, contractor supervision, standard operating procedures updates, month end closing and other dutiesRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of chemical engineering experience. Preferably in process or production engineering role.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Project management experience with project schedules, cost control preferred.
- Experience with identifying and driving improvement opportunities and manage change to implement these improvements.
- Solid experience with identifying and troubleshooting production problems and take preventative or correction action.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.

· 6 - 8 years of experience in IT as a Test Engineer or QA Analyst and at least 4+ years as QA lead.
Understanding of Test automation and working experience on automation on windows based applications, web applications and Mobile
· Experienced in managing QA activities for multiples applications/products and also managing a team comprising of onshore/offshore and
Experienced in testing Windows/Web application on multiple windows platform.
· Experienced in Mobile testing
· Experienced in Non functional testing - performance, load, stress and longevity testing
Role:
Ability and relevant experience in planning and execution of tests for windows based applications
Ability and relevant experience to lead a testing team and coordinate end to end testing/produce daily reports
Experienced in testing tightly integrated third party applications.
Experienced in conducting end to end testing/ Integration testing.
Experienced in testing .Net applications with clear understanding of communication between components.
Experienced in testing multi-tiered applications.
Clear understanding of XML data structures.
Proven analytical and reasoning abilities to help in investigating/debugging defects/issues.
Experienced in driving continuous process improvements aimed at enhancing quality.
Design, document and execute test cases, record, document and analyze test results.
Able to Create test cases using different exertion approaches & defect management process.
Experienced in software deployment and configuration.
