Position: Production Planner
Reports to: Inventory Planning Manager

The Schegg Group is working with a client that is in need of a Production Planner. This individual must be able to manage all ERP LX data pertaining to the supply chain including item master, BOM, routings, DRP, shop order tables, and planning data. Knowledge of formulas, formatting, graphs, v look up and pivot tables a must.

Responsibilities

* Develop production schedules for assigned plants that meet multiple goals including Service levels, Capacity and Inventory targets.

* Perform distribution requirements planning and execute stock transfer when necessary.

* Manage all ERP LX data pertaining to the supply chain. This includes item master, BOM, routings, DRP relationships, shop order table and facility planning data.
* Manage inventory turns to improve service and minimize aged/obsolete inventory.

* Monitor on a daily basis the implementation of the detail schedule for each assigned work centers ensuring that there are no short or late shipments.

* Manage assigned outside warehouses for various tasks, such as shop orders, billing and inventory adjustments.

* Participate on various teams / committees and attend meetings as related to job duties.

* Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Inventory Planning Manager.
Requirements

* Business Degree and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Planning/Analyst experience in a manufacturing setting.

* Adaptable to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.

* Requires strong inter-personal, communication and analytical skills.

* Ability to make logical and accurate decisions using the best available information.

* Ability to handle multiple priorities and anticipate needs.

* Excellent skills in word processing, spreadsheet use and development, and data base systems.Knowledge of formulas, formatting, graphs, v look up and pivot tables a must.

* BPCS/LX experience a plus.

* Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel (knowledge of formulas, formatting, graphs, v look up and pivot tables a must), Windows and Share Point.

Client is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to work within the DMZ team.
The position is located at 55 Water Street, NYC or Hightstown, NJ. This
position is responsible for providing day to day operational support for
the global DMZ environment within the Border Area Networking (BAN) group.
This is accomplished by demonstrating a high level technical proficiency in
multiple complex areas of responsibility. The position requires knowledge
of Checkpoint Firewall Administration, Cisco ASA, Cisco switch
configurations, F5 Load Balancers, IPS/IDS (Sourcefire / IBM)

Essential Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed implementation steps for firewall changes with assigned

requirements within the DMZ
- Increase productivity, quality and customer satisfaction by using high
level team participation skills, exhibiting high self-motivation and a high
level of communication with customers, management and peers
- Analyze and resolve complex problems by using high level problem

- This position provides operations support primarily for the DMZ. This

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience from
an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years with the functions and the businesses being supported
in the DMZ
- A high-level knowledge of operational support for their customer facing
Internet applications
- Demonstrate a positive influence on self and others through team
participation, strategic thinking, decision making, creativity and
communication.
- A high-level knowledge of current and emerging technologies, with
emphasis on security, firewalls and intrusion detection operational
disciplines
- Experience w/ complex problems must be solved using a high-level problem
determination skillset to pinpoint the area of the problem (system,
network, hardware, software, etc.) and then helping identify a solution or
circumvention. Problem solving has become more complicated due to use and
integration of dissimilar technologies and emerging technologies
- Effective communications and presentation delivery skills, especially to
senior management on technology strategies and standards; able to create
and maintain cross-segment relationships and foster collaboration,
knowledge sharing and cooperation.

The next Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meeting is Tuesday, April 14th from 5:30 - 8 pm.

Our guest speaker Michael Shavel from CT Department of Labor presenting on Job Search Strategies.
