Summary:
Our client is seeking a Technical Writer who will interface with all
departments and SMEs to plan, design, write, edit, test and publish internal
documentation and supporting materials, user manuals, training guides,
technical specifications, processes and procedures for new and existing
application development projects. The Technical Writer will define the
documentation requirements of the company by participating in product and
project implementation meetings. The Technical Writer will have hands on
experience with the internal Clarity tools in order to document them.
This Full Time Employee position is located in Madison, CT.
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Technology, English or related field; Master's
Degree a plus
* 8+ years of experience writing software documentation, including
online help, user documentation, release notes and other relevant technical
documents
* 4+ years of hands on experience in a technical support role
* Thorough understanding of software, hardware and database
environments
* Ability to interact with Business Analyst, QA and IT to define and
gather requirements
* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Exceptional writing, grammar and organizational skills
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management strategies
* Familiarity with the QA process
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Visio and SnagIT
* In depth experience with advanced Microsoft Word functionality
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to translate technical information and complex concepts
clearly and concisely for a nontechnical audience
* Knowledge of best practices in technical communication
* Knowledge of adult learning theories is a plus

Description
Our client is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer who will be responsible for the
design, installation, configuration, implementation, maintenance,
troubleshooting, support and documentation of the company's LAN/WAN
networking equipment, infrastructure and and peripherals to ensure security
and availability.
This fulltime employee position is located in Milford, CT
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science or related
field.
* Network Certification - CCNA, CCNP or Juniper Certifications.
* Hands on experience implementing network devices, setting and
maintaining policies and rights/security within a Windows Server 2008/20012
environment and configuration of firewalls and switches along with proven
record of system design and documentation.
* 5+ year's extensive experience in a Windows/VMWare production
environment.
* 5+ year's extensive experience working with routing protocols
such as OSPF and BGP.
* Solid understanding of TCP/IP
* Experience working with VMware ESXi, vCloud Director, and
automation practices.
* Experience working with HP fibre channel storage arrays and
switches.
* Demonstrate ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in an
effective manner.
* Juniper SRX/IDP experience is a plus.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Experience training and mentoring team members.

* LINQ, ASP.NET MVC or WPF-XAML/MWM or JavaScript, Angular JS, Entity
Framework or other Object-Rational mapping framework.
* SQL Server 2008 R2 and Transact SQL.
* WCF and other web service.
* Familiarity with MS Office tools.

* Software Automation-continuous Delivery.
