On Wednesday April 13th, from 7:30-9:30 the Hillsdale Career Resource
Ministry Network Group will be meeting in the Parish Center at St. John the
Baptist Church at 69 Valley Street in Hillsdale, NJ. All are welcome and

The Hillsdale Career Network Group is proud to welcome PAM ETZIN - "An Eye

The group leaders are John F. Carvelli, Janelle Razzino and Gary Gabaccia.
John and Janelle are both parishioners at St. John's. Janelle is an
Executive Recruiter located in Westwood, New Jersey and Gary is a former
Recruiting Leader for IBM and a parishioner at Our Lady Mother of the
Church. This is a job search network group that is suitable for everyone in
transition. The group will discuss networking, landing the job on the first
interview, new ideas for resume campaigns, identifying target companies,
changing careers and a whole host of other topics. The group will meet on
the second Wednesday of every month in the Sheen Room of the Parish Center.
The Career Resource Ministry will present guest speakers on such topics as
boosting your confidence and energy, creating a positive daily attitude,
meeting others in a network group for the exchange of valuable insights,
helping others to help each other and successfully overcoming the speed
bumps that afflict everyone's job campaign.
Please feel free to forward this note to ANYONE that you think would benefit
from joining us. Or, better yet, just bring them with you! Everyone is
welcome, and each month we try to cover a range of topics suitable to anyone
in transition, including networking, resume preparation, interviewing and
variety of others. Our speakers come with a passion for their topics and a
genuine desire to help, so let's all help each other in the pursuit of that
life-changing opportunity. And remember, it's all about what YOU find
valuable, so please let us know the subject matter of most interest to YOU.
Networking will begin at 6:45 if you would like to get a jump start on
connecting with members that will be attending during our "speed dating."

Overview
Our client is seeking a JavaScript Front End Developer with skills in
implementing professional user interfaces for web based applications. The
individual will join a top development team, participating in all phases of
product development, from definition and architecture and design, through
implementation, debugging, and testing.
This is a fulltime employee position in Branford, CT
Skills and Qualifications
Required
* 3+ years in front-end development with strong background in user
interfaces
* Proficient and passionate command of JavaScript frameworks
* Strong command of HTML5, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, JSP, REST, JSON, XML,
and integration with back-end languages such as Java
* Familiarity with Java, standard widgets and other standard UI
components
* Mentor others on effective tooling, development, debugging and
profiling techniques in the UI and web development ecosystems
* Strong understanding of lightweight frameworks that provide more
control over the HTML and CSS
* Deep understanding of custom themes, overriding default styles,
maintaining modularized CSS, and SASS
* Thorough knowledge of development methodologies, techniques,
standards, and best practices
* Design and implement moderately complex business/technical
requirements including but not limited to; design, construction, system and
integration testing, implementation, support, and maintenance.
* Highly motivated individual who thrives on the challenges of working
in new environments with the latest technologies.
Preferred
. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Web Development
. Familiarity with ExtJS, NodeJS, AngularJS, PolymerJS, ReactJS,
Bower, Git, Gulp/Grunt and Webpack
. Familiarity with writing testable code and using Test tools like
Karma, Protractor or Mocha
. Agile techniques for delivering commercial software products
. Strong database knowledge including SQL and NoSQL
. Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services
. Delivered solutions based on Resource-oriented Client Architecture
(ROCA )
. Implemented Single-Page Applications (SPAs)
. Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Git
. Internationalization, localization
. Working knowledge of information architecture and design tools such
as; Photoshop, Balsamiq, Axure, Visio, LuicidChart, Firebug, TopStyle, and
Dreamweaver
. Experience or interest in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
. Experience or knowledge of laboratories and LIMS.
