I need a Hyperion Systems9 Functional Resource for my direct client in
Renton, WA.

The project is 3-6 months and starts June 1, 2009.

Ideally, I need a Hyperion Resource with prior functional experience
implementing Hyperion Planning.

****The resource MUST have strong HFM (System 9) Experience.* ***

The resource must also have strong business analysis skills: enterprise
analysis, elicitation, requirements analysis, solution assessment &

validation, etc..as well as a background working with corporate Financial
Planning and Analysis (FP&A) departments on Budgeting and

Forecasting.

I can pay $100/hr plus expenses on a C2C or $87/hr on a W-2.

I wonder if you or perhaps a colleague might be interested.

We may call it a Director of Technology and Business Process Improvement since it will not be VP level and, depending on the individual, may have a seat with the senior team, but may not. The process improvement is equally important to the role and the candidate should have some strong project management oversight experience.

Here is the original job description:

for a Chief Technology and Business Process Improvement Officer. This individual plans, directs, and provides ongoing analysis of Information Technology. The incumbent will establish and direct the strategic long term goals, policies, and procedures for the Information Technology department. The Chief will collaborate with the OUP senior management team to identify opportunities to improve business processes across the business with the ultimate goal to improve product quality and optimize revenue opportunities. The position will act as technical and analytical lead in all process improvement activities, including methods and processes.

Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
1. Direct OUP's strategic direction, development and future technological growth.
2. Administers the Department's budget to contribute to cost-effective operation of the company.
3. Develop and establish audit procedures.
Business Process Improvement
4. Lead efforts to identify business process improvement opportunities, prepare project plans along with financial justification and lead project approval process.
5. Manage and direct process improvement efforts, including benefits and ROI for all capital investment recommendations, scheduling, and human resource.
Information Technology Development and Deployment:

Job Qualifications:
BS in related field and 10-15 years demonstrated experience in the Information Technology including BPI arena. At least 7-10 years management and strategic experience in the field with a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. Problem analysis and problem resolution at a strategic and functional level is essential. Ability to understand complex business process techniques, as well as the knowledge to apply these techniques in a practical application. Project management training and practical experience running complex projects must be evident. Evidence of excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills. Highly Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Project (or equivalent)
