I am forwarding to you an announcement from the Princeton Public Library.
This came via Janie Hermann, she is the program coordinator and I am sure
that many of you know her from her presentations for SPNG. Janie has been
helping diligently many folks in transition and now again she came through.
I attended a number of such presentations at Princeton Public Library and
all of them were excellent and helpful. This is your opportunity to hear
Maryann Kennedy (SPNG) talk about Behavior-Based Interviewing. This IS the
in thing and there is a lot to learn from her.

We have many valuable lectures and workshops in the next few weeks for those
who are in transition. I have attached a flier outlining the schedule,
including the talk by Dale Caldwell tomorrow night at 7:30 pm.

Next week we will have a Resume Review night (bring in a hard copy of your
resume for a chance to spend 20 minutes with an HR professional) and in June
we have two programs on interviewing skills.

Please forward this message and the attached flier to your contacts and to
any networking/jobseeking lists that you deem appropriate.

Folks;

We are looking for a volunteer, who is an Accountant or a CPA that can
assist a not-for -profit organization in Millburn, NJ (Union County) on fund
accounting. This is a pro-bono effort for few hours a week over next few
weeks.

Following are some specifics on the requirement;

Accounting and/or bookkeeping experience to assist a not-for -profit
Pre-School and church.
Currently the organization is using; Quickbooks and Church Windows
software. The organization needs help redesigning their Chart of Accounts and
Procedures. A/R & A/P, Bank Reconciliations, Income Statements needed on a
Monthly Basis, Payroll Processing handled by Paychex.

If you are willing, able and kind enough to offer your volunteer services,
please let me know. Also if you have any questions or need other details,
please feel free to contact me.
