Greetings:

My name is Veena and I'm an IT recruiter at Mitchell/Martin, Inc. Our
records show that you are an IT professional with experience in Project
manager with ITIL and production support. This experience is relevant to one
of my current openings.

It is located in Newark, DE.
This is a long term contract.
Candidates must be US Citizen or GC Holders.

Job Description:
STRONG PRODUCTION support in the ITIL framework ( audit and documentation
are heavily enforced )
Someone who can resolve issues , anytime.
Solid skills in J2ee arch , ux and oracle
Level 3 prod. Team type
Client facing, EDS , Booze allen , etc. VERY good written and verbal
communication skills,
70% hands on. No coding but they can understand the appl. Source code.

We need someone with strong production support. A number of the candidates
that you sent me have been mostly tech leads on a development team
responsible for break/fix. Here are some of the key processes that the
ideal candidate will have experience in:
Incident management - logging incidents in a tracking system, prioritizing
them and resolving them against an SLA.
Problem management - resolving recurring incidents permanently and
performing break fix.
Capacity planning - ensuring there is sufficient storage and CPU capacity to
support transactional growth on the systems.
Business Continuity planning - preparing the application failover scripts to
the COB site, executing the Disaster Recovery exercises.
Configuration management - tracking the versions of key system artifacts
(architecture docs, design docs, unit test plans) and source code in version
control software (e.g. ClearCase).
Change Management - submitting change requests, documenting the impact and
benefits, getting them approved by a change control board and managing the
implementation.
The candidate should have recent hands on experience in a J2EE environment
(reviewing log files,querying databases), excellent communications
(interfacing with the client and external stake holders) and be a senior
contributor managing a small group of technical people. While this person
will manage a team of two, they will be part of the rotation schedule and
should be able to perform standard troubleshooting activities.
