Hello,

I have a new Project Manager opening.

*Please read the specifics of what I am looking for as they are not
negotiable.*

This role is a contract position through the end of December. This role is
for a mid level manager with 5-7 years. They are not seeking a Senior PM
with 15+ years experience. (sorry)

This project is a large email rollout with 25k user base. I need someone who
has worked on large enterprise wide initiatives. This is a pure PM role.
This person should come from more of an infrastructure PM background. The
have specifically said they do *NOT* want someone from a development
background. There may also be some other small projects that come up.

Job Description:

The IT Client Systems Team is responsible for the development and support of
Corporate Business applications. This team consists of approximately 35
technology professionals whose key functions include application
development, system integration, application support, and production
support. The supported business areas are Client Services, Performance
Analytics, Business Development, Renewable Resources, Finance, and Human
Resources.

*Overview:*

The .NET Developer Lead will lead the development of an existing rewrite
project on a line of business application dealing with client order
processing. The development team currently consists of three developers out
of Boston, and four developers offshore. The candidate will need to hit the
ground running with minimal technical training, and should be familiar with
the Microsoft technology stack in general, and .NET in particular (see
requirements below).

· Enhance development practices and process

· Project planning & estimation

· Managing offshore team day-to-day

· Hands-on development when needed

· Lead development reviews (both code and design reviews)

· Several years of .NET experience, including 2-3 years of working
with .NET 2.0

· Experience with .NET Rich Client technologies such as Windows Forms
or WPF (WPF = Windows Presentation Foundation)

· Very strong object-oriented design and patterns in .NET

· Familiarity with distributed enterprise applications (systems that
span several physical machines)

· Strong preference for experience with .NET 3.0 technologies: WPF,
WCF, WF (WCF = Windows Communication Foundation, WF = Windows Workflow
Foundation)

· Familiarity with .NET 3.5 + C# 3.0 nice to have but not required

· Experience with automated unit testing

· Database proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2000 or preferably
2005)

· Undergraduate degree in technology discipline

· Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational expertise , and
attention to detail

· Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and software independently
