Position Responsibilities - Summary
The Equity Trading team is seeking a Lead software engineer to be an
integral member of the development team responsible for developing the
firm's next generation Equity Trading System. This role will report to the
Software Engineering Manager for the Equity Trading applications.
Great Opportunity to be involved in building a complete Trading System from
the ground up in a elite Buy Side Firm.
Detailed Responsibilities;

As a Lead member of this team, the individual will have the following
responsibilities:

· Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of the
Equity Trading System
· Partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business
requirements
· Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on
estimates, statuses, identify issues and raise risks
· Partner with the Architecture team to ensure track work is aligned
with the strategic direction of the enterprise
· Stay current with evolving Trading industry and technical trends
to ensure systems and team are of highest caliber

Keys to This Position:
1. Technical requirements: C#/.Net, VS 2005+, GUI, Messaging, WPF, WCF.
2. Leadership experience. Team management responsibilities, including the
direct supervision of approximately 15 software engineers (consultants) -
4-5 Onshore - 10 Offshore thru a Lead - Group is mostly made up of
consultants. Responsibilities breakdown - 65% Technical Leadership - 35%
Team Leadership.
3. Domain knowledge (in this order): Trading Systems, Financial
Institution - Front Office, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc. , or
other Financial Services Experience. Work will involve building the Front
End (GUI) for a Major/Multi Year Trading System Project - This will be the
Order Mgt - Order Execution & Order Allocation Portal used by the Firm's
Traders.
4. Strong Communication skills.
5. Seeking experience with High Volume, High Transactional Systems. This
individual will be a strong Technical, Hands On Leader that knows how to
build High Speed Performance Applications.
Required Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven
ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business
problems. Specific requirements include:

· 8+ years of experience including 3 plus years of experience
managing or leading a development team.
· 5+ years of GUI development using Microsoft technologies
· Two years of .net development experience using C#
· Two years of using.net frameworks version 2.0 or greater
· Experience with Visual Studio 2005 or greater
· WPF or WCF is considered a strong plus as is Data Grid Knowledge
· Strong knowledge of Relational DB Systems - Oracle is Preference
but other major RDB Systems is fine
· Strong analysis, design and modeling skills
· Strong knowledge and experience with message technologies (e.g.
MSMQ, ActiveMQ)
· Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and
their effective application

The ETS Communication's team seeks a Systems Engineer who will be
responsible for the engineering, roll out, and operational support of
messaging and communications products.
This individual will be primarily responsible for planning, architecture,
implementation and support of our messaging and communications

Position Responsibilities - Summary
This individual, as part of the Production Support team within Enterprise
Technology Services will provide 24X7 production support for the firm's
global storage infrastructure. The candidate must possess technical depth
and breadth, should have a "can do" hands-on orientation and be able to

Reporting
· Develop and execute storage high availability and disaster

· Work with planning, engineering, delivery and operations teams to
coordinate project activities, support issues and to evolve the resiliency
and technical capabilities of the storage infrastructure. Communicating
issues and status to senior management in the form of status reports,

· Work with Data Center management teams on storage equipment
migrations
· Understand business priorities/needs, the IT organization's goals
and enable alignment of the team's operating model, processes and systems to
