Main Purpose of Position:
The Purees Associate Product Manager will support strategic development and
lead flawless execution of day to day brand management activities including:
1) Manage and execute high profile Gerber� Purees innovation projects
2) Partnering with Finance, CCSD, demand planning and contract manufacturing
to ensure Value Chain goals are achieved (Sales, demand and production
planning, promotions, margins, inventory levels, liquidations, etc.)
3) Working closely with Retail Analytics department to generate relevant
brand performance metrics, identifying corrective actions on time to ensure
brand goals are reached consistently month by month.
4) Lead the development and execution of cost saving initiatives and
renovation projects across the value chain
Major Responsibilities:
-Day to day management of brand business/issues, including forecasting,
budgeting, materials management, packaging graphics changes, and Stage Gate.
-Lead comprehensive and in-depth analysis of key business drivers providing
forward looking strategic insights and action plans. Lead development of
improved models/metrics to understand business performance.
-Develop, Track and Report Gerber� Purees Ship to Consumption Model
-Partner with Business Teams and Demand and Supply planning to improve
demand plan accuracy forecast and bias across the Gerber� Purees monthly
planning cycle.
-Define project scope, create work plan and lead cross functional teams in
the development of line extensions, product improvements, new product
innovation and cost-savings initiatives.
-Participate in the development of Customer, Channel and/or WIC vs. Non-WIC
specific marketing strategies and execution.
Required:
-BS in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field. MBA preferred.
-1-3 years of progressive CPG marketing/product management experience
-Experience in market research, product development, new product launches
-Demonstrated track record driving market share and product profitability
-Experience presenting to Executive Management
