The Director of Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM), plans, coordinates, organizes and supports the execution of all activities for TPM implementation within the designated Region.
In line with the Mondelēz Integrated Lean Six Sigma strategy, the TPM Director is expected to provide leadership, coaching and expertise needed to deliver the zero loss and 100% engagement journey for Mondelēz International.
This position requires an experienced TPM deployment leader and practitioner that can help a complex high-growth global organization define, refine and execute a Regional TPM master plan in support of a sustainable top tier Supply Chain.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for coaching plants in the Region while collaborating with other sites and peers on global level.
Responsibilities include coaching at various senior levels to develop capability within the Supply Chain TPM Pillars as defined within the Mondelēz Integrated Lean Six Sigma framework. Given Mondelēz is early in its TPM journey, this role requires exceptional capabilities in Pillar development for Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Productive Maintenance (PM) Pillars. Development and integration with other Global Pillars such as the leadership, education and training, and focused improvement will be critical. In addition to facilitating phase 1 - 4 execution, the TPM Regional Director will build plant pillar coaching capabilities to make plants self-sufficient in coaching TPM for future wave deployment. An overarching responsibility will be to ensure all TPM efforts are properly focused to address the specified Compelling Business Need (CBN) across the supply chain.
The Regional TPM Lead:
· Works across the supply chain and at all levels to help increase TPM capabilities in line with the specified CBN
· Coordinates regional and global TPM activities to include external visits, consultant support and phase audits
· Supports Plants, Plant Managers and Functional Leaders in developing, coordinating and evaluating effective TPM master plans
· Facilitates the integration of all Supply Chain Pillars with an initial focus on AM, PM and DMAIC(FI)
· Coaches Pillar Leaders to build needed capability including self-sustaining Pillar coaching
· Organizes and facilitates progress evaluations and formal phase audits against execution of the TPM master plan
