PROJECT MANAGER, ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY

Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management & Technology, the Project Manager assists in the management of all high priority information technology projects. In conjunction with the Executive Director, coordinates the development and maintenance of Enrollment Management's IT service offerings, continual service process improvement and serves as the primary liaison for EM/ IS departmental relationships.
Principal responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating the identification and implementation of new technologies; assisting departments within Enrollment Management in providing more efficient and effective service to students and applicants; providing advice, training and hands-on project management consistent with project scale, complexity and risk in the execution of all technology related projects. Assisting with contract negotiation processes, and the development of the Division Mission and Strategic Plan and managing and monitoring the Division's web pages.  Serving as the liaison between the Directors within the Division and various external departments to eliminate or reduce barriers to the most efficient and effective use of technology. Analyzing results of assessments conducted and preparing reports relative to technology matters.
The successful candidate is required to have a Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration or related field. Master's degree is preferred. Also required are a minimum of three (3) years' related experience, two (2) years of which must be in a project management or related role within a higher education setting and demonstrated knowledge, understanding and application of project management methodologies. S/he must possess demonstrated technical competency in a variety of computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (Banner preferred).Excellent oral, written, presentation and organizational skills as well as knowledge of current and developing trends in information technology services requirements in educational institutions and industry and its impact on processes required. Knowledge of the application of data standards, information mapping, and the use of social media in higher education, reporting and assessment is required. Knowledge of statistical software such as SQL or SAS is desirable.
