Technical Lead, Financial Systems
NRT LLC seeks a technical lead for our financial systems technology team at our Home Office in Madison, New Jersey. The financial systems software development team supports, enhances and maintains the NRT financial systems and the Agent Check printing/processing application; defines and develops processes, interfaces and reports from Oracles financial application; provides support on projects and initiatives for the finance department.
The technical lead is responsible for gathering requirements for application development and/or modification and managing multiple projects in a cross-functional development environment which includes translating customer needs into related tasks such as developing estimates, tracking actuals, resource planning, scope control, managing the project plan, meeting with and communicating to project sponsors, and providing work direction to multiple resources.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in IT or Finance/Accounting or equivalent work experience
- 5 years project management experience, 3 of which were focused on financial systems
- Prior work experience in the following areas: leading cross-functional project teams; managing multiple projects simultaneously; planning, managing and reporting on budgets; effectively writing complex specifications, project plans and status reports; providing direction to the application development, maintenance and integration development teams
- Prior work experience using SQL Server 2005/2008, Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Financials (GL, AP, PA), Oracle Discoverer reporting, Oracle FSG reporting, MS Office including MS Project.
Other Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and make decisions independently.
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, Project Lifecycle, Financial Systems.
- Cognos BI/TM1 experience is a plus.
