Speaker: Elizabeth Kaufman
Topic: Personal Branding
Personal Branding is much more than a slick tagline or elevator pitch; it is
the part of the reason people get jobs. Companies and corporations use
branding to differentiate themselves from the competition and in today's job
market, employers are consumers! They are looking for the best value when
they hire an employee and they are searching for a valuable asset to their
team. Therefore, having a brand allows job seekers to present themselves as
a valuable solution to an organization and that is why having an authentic
brand is key to standing out and being selected.

Elizabeth Kaufman, founder and owner of Keystone Consulting, is an
experienced and versatile Human Resources professional with comprehensive
expertise in the areas of talent acquisition, resume writing, job search
strategy, and interview preparation. 15+ years of HR, staffing, and career
management experience in both corporate and non-corporate environments has
given her the unique opportunity to hone her skills in many different
industry sectors. Liz also has in-depth knowledge of multiple job markets
and a deep understanding of what employers are looking for in today's
candidates.
Keystone Consulting works with students, professionals and tradesmen within
a wide range of disciplines, specializing in helping these individuals
effectively and successfully manage their job search and/or career
transition process, tailored to their needs.

RamseyJSWT Members:

Listed below are next week'supcoming Networking Events. All meetings are open to the public, plus you arewelcome and strongly encouraged to attend. Try attending at least one or twomeetings a week, what you learn there will definitely help shorten your time intransition. Also, many of these groups convene in the evening, so it will nottake time away from your daily job search activities.

Think of these meetings asopportunities, sort of like going to school, to learn something that can reduceyour time in transition by gaining knowledge in job search and interviewingskills needed to excel and standout from your competition.

In traveling to these meetings, consider car pooling. Not only will it reduce the cost of driving there, butthe friendly conversation will make the ride seem to go much faster.

If anyone is aware of an upcomingmeeting that you would like to share with the group, please let me know and Iwill gladly include it. Also, if any transition support group would like toreceive this list, let me know and I will add your group to the list.

Thankyou,

Tom Donohue
