Human Resources Business Partner/Recruiter

The HR Business Partner/Recruiter will be a partner to the business and is responsible for balancing the needs of the Affinion Group employees with the needs of the business by supporting the management team and employee population through company policies, human resources practices and employee programs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
* Facilitate the full lifecycle of the recruiting process, interviewing and hiring of new Affinion Group Associates sourcing through a variety of vehicles, including job boards, agencies, professional associations and employee referrals,
* Participate in the on boarding process of new associates, including conducting new hire orientations and on boarding interviews,
* Advises and counsels managers (and employees) on handling employee relations issues as they arise, as well as compensation, organizational design and talent development
* Facilitation of employee development programs, ie calibration and change communication sessions
* Supports the global talent management system and process,
* Clarifies, interprets and responds to inquiries regarding company policies, human resources processes and practices,
* Demonstrated understanding of the company's business, as well as
* Participates on departmental and/or organizational project teams.
Education and Experience
* Bachelors' degree in Human Resources/Business or equivalent work experience
* 3 to 5 years general HR experience
* Demonstrated experience in recruiting and employee relations
* Familiarity with HR disciplines, including benefits, compensation, HR systems and technology
* Analytical with the ability to translate the information appropriately
* Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately
* PHR preferred
Skills and Abilities
* Previous recruiting experience required
* Effective communications and presentation skills
* Courageous
* Thoughtful
* Proven relationship building skills
* Able to handle multiple priorities
* Solid project management skills preferred

The application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to the definition, planning and tracking of project activities to meet or exceed customer and stakeholder needs and expectations. Leads one or more projects, which may involve multiple technical disciplines. May consult on and utilize latest project methodologies, including Agile. Uses Microsoft Project, and analyzes data in Excel and presents in PowerPoint.
Includes functions in support of business systems management, including efficiencies analysis, change management, software version control, and enhancements management. Includes producing test plans, executing and evaluating test cases, and developing automated regression test suites. Usually focused on performance testing, and may involve automated testing products.
Functional Experience 5+ years in QA.
Finance Industry: 3+ years Financial Services industry experience.

Test Case Management Creating, executing, and managing test cases with or without business requirements/
Defect Management: Entering and managing defects to completion.
