Job Description:
- Program Manager managing 2 – 4 programs and projects with product owners and sometimes sub-program project managers.
- Work closely with engineering/development to ensure the Plan-Of-Record and delivery milestones are met, remain on track, and work risk contingency plans.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide ad-hoc support and service to internal and external 'customers' of the product (service)
- Act as an evangelist, promoting the benefits of the product(s) internally and externally, in order to promote existing features and justify future investment
- Coordinate development teams, including architects, developers, and other business owners to provide clear guidance, documentation and represent the business throughout the SDLC
- Become a spokesperson for the platform as it exists today, working with marketing to ensure that the platform capabilities are highlighted in collateral
- Provide weekly/periodic reports to C-level executives
Skill Set:
- A Masters degree in Business Administration
- Well versed with:
o Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint
o Business Requirements documentation
o Strategic planning, financial analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Be familiar with Agile, waterfall and other common software development techniques
- Communications / MSO industry familiarity
- In-home networking familiarity
- PMP certification is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in delivering commercial grade projects.
- Proficiency in leading groups and facilitating collaboration between cross functional departments
