March 16, 2014 -- The Mondays @ 7 Group will sponsor a workshop featuring Ileana Kotulich, March 24, 2014. In her presentation, she stresses the strategy of planning your work and working your plan. She will discuss taking action after creating a plan, tracking your success and evaluating the results. Ileana will also focus on the power of positive thinking and having the right attitude to reach life goals. So, if you're stuck in neutral, prepare yourself to discover ways to get back in gear on your job search.

Ileana has a fascinating educational and career background. After obtaining her doctorate in Psychology, she began a career as a child psychologist in Fairfield County. Dr. Kotulich was then bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and started working with Mary Kay Cosmetics. After attaining the Independent Sales Director status, she left the psychology field to dedicate her efforts to Mary Kay. Ileana has earned 8 careers cars with the simple philosophy of putting God first, family second and career third.

Ileana's mission is to help women look better, feel better and become better. Her motto is, "How old you are is your business, how young you look is my business".

Software Developer for Core Engineering group
Take part in the development and maintenance of Core WebFocus engine – data manipulation, sorting/aggregation, generating complex reports, computational engine, 4GL language etc. Software has to work in the multi-platform environment spanning platforms like Unix, Windows, and even AS/400.
Strong analytical skills and strong C/C++ is a must. Experience in development (design) of the complex multilayered software a big plus. Also desirable – some level of familiarity with Business intelligence tools and requirements, understanding SQL concepts and language.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Front End Web Developer who will develop, test and
support standards-compliant front-end code for websites, web applications,
and mobile solutions using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to help create a better
user experience. This individual will collaborate openly with UX/UI and
Visual Designers, as well as Product Managers, Technical Developers, and QA
teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the design and its
integration with the technical solution in an Agile Software Development
environment.

This is a fulltime permanent role based in midtown New York City. Salary
Base up to $140K


Skills & Experience:
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field strongly
preferred
* 5-7+ years of relevant experience
* Must have strong portfolio of work showing experience developing
standards-compliant front-end code for web and mobile web
* Must have expert-level skill in HTML (4 and 5), CSS (2 and 3) and
JavaScript (libraries including JQuery); the ability to write
standards-compliant code from scratch
* Must have experience with front end MVC frameworks
(Angular/Backbone) and unit testing (Jasmine)
* Must have experience working in an Agile Software Development
environment
* Experience with version control systems like SVN
