Job Title : Compliance Analyst III
Duration : 8 Months & Possibility of Extension
Location : Timonium, MD
PLEASE NOTE: This JP is the same description as JP #8133. It will be for 2 different managers within the SAME group.

Temporary position to assist with performing regulatory compliance testing reviews of existing business processes, documenting procedures, conducting risk assessments, developing process maps, and recommending process improvements, identifying and managing issues, plus other tasks as may be assigned.
Banking Compliance background is strongly preferred, but banking audit, project or quality review experience with six sigma experience (FMEA) may be acceptable. Critical thinking skills are a necessity.
Must be proficient in MS Office including Excel and Visio.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and document detailed business process tests in a banking marketing environment; Identify compliance and operational risks associated with the processes tested. Document, track, and report on remediation plans for risks or issues identified through these reviews.
Prepare management reports to summarize findings relating to compliance analysis.
Provide guidance to business partners relating to the development of controls for critical business processes to mitigate compliance/operational risk
Assist with the development/documentation of Standard Operating Procedures
Identify opportunities for and conduct ongoing and targeted compliance monitoring and/or testing
