Job Description:
Job Title:Windows/Exchange Administrator:
Duration:6+months
Location:New Haven CT
Notes:someone GC, EAD GC or Citizen.
Job Summary:
Work as part of a team of system administrators to provide Windows server administration, support and technical guidance for mission-critical administrative and academic applications in a dynamic, 24/7 production data center environment.
Required Education and Experience:
* Three years experience supporting production Windows systems
* Thorough knowledge of and experience with Windows operating systems, utilities, tools and applications
* Production experience with at least two of the following: System Center Operations Manager, System Center Configuration Manger, Exchange 2010, Office 365, Lync 2013, Active Directory, ADFS, DirSync, Microsoft PKI, load balancing (F5 preferred)
Additional Preferred Education and Experience:
* Bachelors degree
* Experience in an environment where ITIL processes are in use.
Skills and Abilities:
* Demonstrated ability to write PowerShell scripts
* Demonstrated ability to backup/recover a Microsoft Windows environment
* Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation for a technical audience
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
