Businesses and Professionals this September

*Upcoming business events at Somerset County Library System branches aim

*support local business owners and professionals in Somerset County.*
Business owners and professionals who are looking to thrive in Somerset
County need to look no further. Somerset County Library System (SCLS)
offers ample on the go workspace, a wealth of resources including free
internet access, free access to Morningstar, Standard & Poor's, and Value
Line, and sample documents such as business plans and legal forms, as well
as educational and networking opportunities and events, including two being
held this September.
*On Tuesday, September 16, SCLS's Warren Library Branch, located at 42
Mountain Road, will host an annual Speed Networking event, 8:30-10:30 am*.
Participants will meet up to 30 other professionals during the two hour
event while having the chance to perfect their 30 second "elevator speech,"
practice marketing skills, try a new sales pitch and expand their
professional network. In addition, there will be a brief technology
presentation by Warren Library's staff. For more information or to

*On Saturday, September 27, SCLS's Hillsborough Library Branch, located at
379 South Branch Road, will host the second annual Small Business Expo, 11
am – 3 pm*. Attendees will learn about new local businesses, services and
products in Somerset County. Support organizations, such as SCORE and SBDC,
will be present for inspiration and support. Additionally, Hillsborough
Library's staff will offer a class about using digital resources to enhance
business. Door prizes, refreshments, and giveaways will be provided by
