Position

The
Staff Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller and the Group
Controller. They will have various responsibilities, including but not limited

Responsibilities

· Daily journal entries to record cash transactions

· Reconciliation of bank accounts

· General ledger analysis in order to update spreadsheets

· Monthly and annual reporting of partnership activity

· Updating spreadsheets used to track partners ownership in the entity

· Tracking sales of investments and allocating proceeds and gains based
on each partners ownership percentage

· Reviewing and analyzing partners' capital account

· Assisting the Controller with annual audit and tax schedules

· Assisting management with the preparation of financial statements
Candidate
Profile/Requirements
The
individual filling this position should have a strong accounting background,
with at least 3-5 years private accounting experience. Partnership experience
is a plus. The position requires an individual that is able to plan, organize
and prioritize multiple tasks while responding to requests for
information. Strong written and oral
communication skills are necessary. The
individual will have strong analytical capability while maintaining a great
attention to detail. The position
requires goods presentation skills and excellent PC skills with a significant
proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This person must be a team player willing to assist others when

8 Month Contract – There is a possibility of further extension.

A Business Analyst is needed for the SP- GOLD initiative that involves upgrading the Insight Publisher application to a newer version. In addition they will be migrating the Organon users from Coredossier to Insight Publisher. There are 70 users total with 10 sitting in the Netherlands . So, this is a Global System. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements from employees in Reports and Submissions both on the clinical and non-clinical side. He or she will working with some existing requirements that will have to be merged with the new requirements. This person will also be working directly with Liquent (the vendor who makes Insight Publisher). They will need to work with the Business side, the vendor, and the Validation and documentation teams. There is a tight deadline in place that cannot be moved for any reason.

Additional Job Info:
Qualified candidates must have: 1. 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst 2. Experience working in a Pharmaceutical company 3. Preferred experience with Insight Publisher but acceptable with Coredossier. A candidate with both would be the best option. 4. Must be flexible and have excellent listening and communication skills
