Title: Director, Information Technology Location: Rye Brook, NY (shuttle to/from Rye train station) Salary: Up to $150K + 15-20 % Bonus SUMMARY As a member of the senior management team, the Director is responsible for the overall development, implementation, maintenance and strategic direction of the company's Information Technology function, including business plans and budgets, project milestones and metrics, reporting, disaster recovery and business continuity, as well as direction and evaluation of IT support personnel. This role influences the business direction in the design and execution of system solutions to support existing and new clients, products and operational complexities while adhering to established quality and compliance standards as defined by senior management, clients and regulatory authorities. Required Skills: . Minimum of a Bachelor's degree plus advanced study in information technology and management. . Minimum of ten (10) years Information Technology experience with increasing responsibility including prior project management, application development and infrastructure design. . Minimum of three (3) years of commercial healthcare and claims experience at the senior level. . Must be fluent in the concepts and processes associated with insurance product design/management; solid experience administering various products including HMO, PPO, POS, fully insured, self insured, consumer driven plans, high deductible plans, HRA's, HSA's and pharmacy products. * Well rounded in IT experience with application development, infrastructure, databases, and communications. . Expert level knowledge of and proficiency with relevant hardware, software and database applications for the healthcare industry. Other Skills and Qualifications: . High analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and project management skills . Demonstrated ability to articulate goals, plan and implement processes, recognize and assess different variables, and meet deadlines. . Highly advanced interpersonal consultative and management skills to manage critical internal and external relationships and activities . Extensive experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing operating procedures and systems, with the decision making authority to make changes. . Solid understanding of the business impact of technology decisions, including the ability to weigh the business, financial and technical factors. . Strong experience with vendor selection, RFP generation, and contract negotiation. . HIPAA, URAC, Disaster Recovery and SOX experience highly desirable. . Experience in website design desirable.
