Responsible for all payroll tax activities including compliance with federal, state and local regulations and filing tax returns.
Supervise staff of tax analysts and manage day to day processing.
Responsible for accurate and timely tax deposits and reporting.
Prepare special reports for senior management.
Works directly with Accounting on tax reconciliations.
Manages all aspects of federal and state tax audits as well as internal audit requests.
Prepare letters of abatement for any penalties.
Coordination of Cobra Subsidy.
Responsible for Year-End processing and filing of all related tax forms.
Works with IT to insure compliance related to tax withholding rates and year-end reconciliation.
Works with IT to insure all earnings codes are setup accurately for taxation on a federal, state and local level.
Experience Required:
5-7 years overall payroll tax experience
Experience with tax outsourcing providers (ie: ADP, Ceridian, and Master Tax) and implementation of systems.
Experience with Cyborg and PeopleSoft a plus.
CPP preferred.

Many of you saw a message that I had sent to the group for IT Positions at KPMG - Montvale, but did not take the time to read the message or follow the proper process for applying to their career center and then getting some help with a position once you have identified it and already applied for it.
 
People are not going to find you a job, you need to find yourself a job, and then see if you can find someone on the inside to change the position from an unknown to a known opportunity.
 
Do not send your resume to anyone and ask them to look for a job for you.  This is not going to happen (even if they say they will and charge you a fee for it); you must identify the position yourself. 
 
I spoke with Diane of KPMG today; she has been inundated with over a 100 "solicitations" of a resume and the question of "is there anything there for me?". 
 
When applying for a position, please be qualified, if you are a Project Manager, don't apply for a desktop support or help desk position. 
 
All resumes sent directly to Diane are being deleted as she does have the time to look through them and try to match them to a position.  You need to apply through the KPMG Career Center
 
Diane is also not a LinkedIn Open Networked (LION), she will not accept an invitation from someone she does not know.
 
I hope that I have not offended anyone today, my intent is to bring your attention to something that has gone terribly wrong, and how to fix it.  Read and follow the instructions.

We currently have multiple contract to hire opportunities for QA Test Developers at a major company in King of Prussia, PA. Candidates must have hands on testing skills with back end skills preferred. Experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) is a nice plus but not required.


Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with developers to create test plans from functional specifications.

2. Represent QA in design, function requirements, code reviews, and architecture reviews.
