We are working with a client who is looking for a Program Manager in
Hartford County, CT. Salary range is $65 - $80K.

The Program Manager will be responsible for the development and
implementation of new products for this growing manufacturer.

This is a great opportunity for a rising star!

The successful candidate will manage the day to day activities of the
programs while supporting and coordinating efforts with Marketing, Sales,
Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality Engineering in regards to New Program
Launches and direct interface to the customer.

Position Responsibilities & Requirements:

Experience with the electronics industry including markets of
Semi-Conductor, Appliance, Aerospace and Defense. Medical device experience
is a plus.

Experience in ISO quality systems, ISO 9000 and MIL Specs required.

Blueprint reading, understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Understanding of basic shop math in order to perform volume calculations.

Ability to understand customer requirements and translate those requirements
into products.

Finalizing specifications & designs and the contract review process for
Industrial applications.

Establish engineering/scientific objectives for projects.

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to agreed upon timelines and
budgets. Independently plan and execute projects.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TQM, continuous/process improvement,
scrap reduction, etc.

Coordinating the tooling design, fabrication, start up, ramp up and turn
over to manufacturing for new programs.

Personable and results-driven personality and requires a team-oriented
individual with strong interpersonal skills.

Experience & Education Required:

3 - 5 years experience in program management of product launches of single
level components to multi level components.

BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Metallurgical or Plastics.
