Our fashion e-commerce, Manhattan based client is looking for a skilled junior
PHP developer on a full time basis. This position involves being a part of the
design process, troubleshooting existing issues, implementing new features and
extending core functionality of other technologies and platforms, like Magento
and WordPress. You'll be working along with visual designers,
interactivedesigners and other software engineers.

Required

* 1-3 years experience working with PHP5.x and MySQL
* 1+ years experience with MVC frameworks and CMS platforms (Drupal, Joomla,
Wordpress, Symfony, Zend, etc)
* Good understanding of object oriented programming concepts

documentation, work plans and project deliverables. Guide others in the use

Guide and monitor work performance.
5. Accountable to local IT leadership for project delivery and
directions while simultaneously accountable to Enterprise IT-PMO for project

6. Work with project sponsor(s) and the team to establish project

7. Establish and maintain effective communications with team members,

Level II Help Desk
Job Description
Provide Level II support for Desktops and Applications, including Windows XP,
Windows7, Office Suite, and SAP. Provide support for remote applications, custom
handheld applications. Provide support for Telecom issues, including high speed
access at remote Sales Centers, as well as Blackberry and cell phone support.
Assist the Systems Manager and Systems Engineers as needed.

• BS in Computer science preferred or High School graduate
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or other Windows certification a
plus.

• 1+ years desktop support and maintenance (Win XP, Win 7, Office Suite)
• 1+ years SAP account maintenance and support.
• 1+ years PC hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
• Some experience as professional systems admin a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Adept at identifying system, end user, and equipment problems, diagnosing
their cause and extent, and following prescibed solutions.

• Microsoft Exchange 2003
• Windows 2003 and 2008 Server.
• VMware ESX 3.0 or above.
• SAN experience a plus (administration of LUN, RAID group)
• Familiarity with change control processes a plus.
• Working knowledge of network administration and topology, PC and server
maintenance procedures.

• Able to effectively prioritize, juggle and manage numerous concurrent
projects/problems.

• Able to establish and maintain effective business relationships with users,
internal colleagues and external contacts.

Responsibilities Include:
• Support internal customers such as Help Desk, Desktop Support, and Application
Development in problem analysis and resolution.

• Supports and maintains network servers and network infrastructure. (Installs
and maintains network and application software, upgrades software as needed)

• Provide support of all network systems for Production, Development and
Testing organizations. Ensure the timely resolution of any reported problems

• Diagnoses causes of problems being encountered, and determines/suggests needed
corrective actions.

• Monitors servers in a proactive manner.
• Follow policies and procedures related to and software acquisition, use,
support, and security.

• Supports PC deployments as needed
• Adhere to company policies and Information Technology department policies.
• Participates in special projects & performs other duties as assigned

Skills:
BAs need to have knowledge of Prime Brokerage / securities lending business.

Prime Brokerage, Client Reporting, Transaction Processing, Margin/Risk
Management, Securities Lending, Funding, Synthetic Financing products building,
cost-of-carry, allocation system, availability, inventory system

Required Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience as a user, analyst or technical
specialist supporting financial services applications, preferably investment
processing or bank/broker systems

- Experience maintaining and updating all documentation
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in functional design, including user interface
