Title: Group Search Director
Job Summary:
* Group Search Director (GSD) is a management position reporting directly to Search Director, NY and fulfilling on following goals:
- Ensure that the search product is delivered in a professional, comprehensive form with insights and recommended actions
- Help develop and improve processes that will streamline operations, improve performance and maximize profitability
- Help elevate the search product to a strategic role, part of a greater media and marketing context
Responsibilities
* Ensuring all Search Engine Marketing deliverables are met on time and on quality and align with client objectives
* Foster communications processes for optimal integration between search, media, analytics and ad serving teams
* Establish search best practices for development, communication, implementation and tracking across clients
* Development and growth of search team including ongoing evaluation of staff planning & resource allocation
* Identifying and acting upon growth potential within existing accounts
* Client/Inter-agency interface as needed
* Be key player in continuing development of the paid search methodology
* Train, motivate and develop search planning group to improve upon existing expertise
* Contribute to new business pitches
Qualifications:
* 8+ years experience of media agency and management experience, primarily in paid search
* Superior knowledge of paid search models and demonstrated capabilities in building and running complex, multi-brand campaigns to meet ROI goals
* Experience in managing large accounts with big budgets and strict deliverables
* Experience with search technology platforms (Marin, Efficient Frontier, Kenshoo)
* Experience with site side analytic technologies (Omniture, Coremetrics, Webtrends)
* Basic understanding of natural search/organic search/SEO
* Client service experience with senior clients
* Excellent project management skills
* Oriented toward learning new skills, technologies
* Problem-solving, conflict resolution and prevention
* Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
