Overview
Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst.  The purpose of
this position is to develop business solutions through the analysis, design and
development for mid-sized systems development projects and to be a primary
contributor to testing, documenting and post implementation support. 

Responsibilities
The Sr. Systems Analyst will collaborate with business analysts to understand
business requirements and translates business requirements into technical design
and may participate in requirements gathering meetings.  He/She will also create
technical specifications for the design of new mid-sized programs and integrated
processes and coordinate with other IT groups, analysts and programmers.  the
Sr. Systems Analyst will act as liaison between vendors and consultants to
ensure delivery of systems projects on time and within budget.

 
Additionally, the Sr. Systems Analyst will coordinate and execute systems
testing, ensuring proper change control procedures are followed while
providing intermediate-level problem solving to troubleshoot, resolve production
issues, and mitigate risks and performing system upgrades, installations and
enhancements. He/She will inform user support and production support on new
functionalities or new systems to ensure smooth transition of systems knowledge
and provide post-implementation support for Level II and III. 

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a BachelorĂ¢€™s degree and/or equivalent
experience with 5-7 years of experience in Systems Analysis with focus in
business software and systems. Demonstrated ability to produce quality technical
specifications with in-depth understanding of project lifecycle, including all
phases of system and software development is required.  Experience with
Microsoft Web and Client/Server technologies is required along with a proven
track record in Graphic User Interface design, software usability and
testing/quality assurance.  Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience with
C#, ASP.Net, .Net Framework 3.5, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, XSL, HTML, CSS,
Visual Studio 2008 as well as being self-motivated, proactive, and solution
oriented with superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

. Create and execute test scenarios /test cases to appropriately test
system assurance reports and analysis processes.

. Identify and analyze the key data sets, data relationships, and database
tables that drive the integrity of the financial data and financial
reporting.

. Determine the appropriate system checks and balances to maintain the
integrity of that key financial data, and define the requirements for a
comprehensive set of System Assurance reports to identify any
inconsistencies or out-of-balance conditions.

. Perform daily production system report reviews that include the analysis
of system assurance reports and determining if errors were the result of
issues encountered during nightly processing or further investigation
assistance is required by the FISA Business Team needs to occur to identify
and resolve out-of-balance conditions.

. Track and report the status of SA/QC issues, and as necessary escalate
issues.

System Assurance controls and daily analysis will occur predominantly in the
following areas:

. FMS/3 Transaction Processing Flow - that transactions are entered
completely and accurately, processed properly, updating the database
correctly, and generating accurate output reports and files;

. FMS/3 Integration with FMS/2 - that appropriate transactions are
accurately transmitted, presented, processed, and recorded in the database
of the master system/system of record; and

. FMS/3 Integration and Interfaces with External System - appropriate
transactions are accurately transmitted and presented, in the correct system
of record for processing and recording.

FISA is willing to train the individual in Advantage 3.x application
administration if said person has a background with ERP solutions or in
production quality control, or extensive experience in data analysis.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities include: 3 to 4 years of PeopleSoft
or SAP or a comparable ERP experience is required, good team and
interpersonal skills are also important. The candidate must possess a
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a business related field.

deployment of segmentation in the business, including reports,
presentations, case studies, best practice papers, analysis and
marketing tools;
• Managing market research suppliers;
• Managing a small team of market research/segmentation specialists;
• Working with database and analytics teams to ensure that
segmentation data is imported into enterprise databases, business
intelligence platforms and integrated with existing customer data
for ongoing analysis and data mining.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• 10 - 15 years of qualitative and quantitative marketing research
experience in large, international companies, preferably on the
agency and client-side;
• Specific experience in leading, designing, implementing and
deploying large scale, international, consumer segmentations;
• Strong business acumen and marketing background;
• Knowledge of quantitative research methods and statistics;
• Experience in technology industries is highly desirable;
• International experience is a pre-requisite for this position;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven
track record for effectively leading cross functional teams;
• Excellent team building and people management skills;
• Excellent negotiating and influencing skills;
• A positive and inspiring attitude and the desire to help build a
