Position Responsibilities – Summary
The Sr. Contracts Manager will provide expertise in the
drafting/development, negotiation and management of complex technology
related contracts. These contracts include application licensing,
development, maintenance and support, IT consulting services, as well as
contracts related to infrastructure support (telecom, hardware purchases,
etc.).
In addition, responsibilities will include implementing, issuing and
analyzing formal RFPs. This position will support the Information Services
(IS) organization. The Contracts Manager will work closely with Project
Managers, Systems Analysts and Team Leaders.
Reports to the Manager of Procurement - Individual contributor role.
Key Responsibilities;

· Developing, negotiating, and managing technology contracts,
including those with significant complexity and risk or potential liability
to the firm.
· Managing multiple contracts simultaneously and providing ongoing
service level delivery
· Communicating on a continuous basis with internal clients by
providing project status and analysis throughout contract development and
negotiations
· Reducing expenditure levels through contract negotiations
· Coordinating, developing and managing the RFP/RFI process and
facilitating the analysis, evaluation of proposals and recommendations by
the RFP team
· Managing assigned contracts during and after negotiations to
ensure compliance by the contracting parties
· Working with vendors and internal clients to identify and research
problems relevant to contractual obligations and developing corrective
action plans to resolve.
· Improving quality, service, and vendor accountability, and helping
develop alternate sourcing strategies
Keys to This Position:
1. Strong skills negotiating contracts with IT professional services vendors
as well as hardware and software vendors/licenses.
2. An understanding of the entire procurement process.
3. We are looking for a collaborative, diplomatic and innovative
individual.
4. Needs to come out of a large, complex IT mission critical
environment.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Seven or more years experience in technology (IS) related contract
negotiations
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contract negotiations
· Strong problem solving techniques, ability to clearly communicate
issues, status of negotiations and ideas to internal clients
· Strong negotiation and communication skills are fundamental
requirements of the role
· A Bachelor's degree, is required; advanced academic credentials
(such as an MBA or JD) would be viewed favorably
· Strong knowledge of business law as it relates to IS contract
issues would be considered highly desirable in this role

Position Responsibilities – Summary

As member of the Enterprise Delivery Center, this individual will be
responsible for design, development and maintenance of applications within
Derivative Operations Systems. In this role, the individual will participate
in all development activities to successfully deploy new systems and
enhancements, and work with colleagues and end users to design, develop and
implement solutions to meet business requirements. The Senior Software
Engineer will also assist other team members in supporting and maintaining
various other DOS suite of applications.

Key Responsibilities;

· Participate in architecture, design, implementation, deployment,
and support efforts.
· Work with business team members, project managers, and systems
analysts to review and qualify business requirements, functional
specifications, use-cases, and test plans
· Design, prototype and code new software components and
applications based on functional specifications.

· Coordinate with analyst teams to execute test plans and provide
support during user acceptance testing.

· Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new
functionality and to optimize them for performance.

· Provide day-to-day production systems support including
monitoring, trouble-shooting and fixing problems as they occur.

· Work with other software engineers to design and implement
application features, including user interfaces, and business functionality
enhancements.

· Author technical design and support documentation.

Keys to this Position:

1. Technical: This position is 80 to 90% coding with the following
technologies: Java/J2EE, PL/SQL, Oracle, Spring, Perl.
2. Experience with Continuous Integration to ensure code quality (i.e.
JUnit, Hudson, etc,) is required.
3. Investment Management industry highly desired, but not required.
Experience developing applications for Derivative Operations would be a big
plus.
4. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of experience.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Leadership, technical, and systems analysis skills

· 4+ years related work experience with full project lifecycle.

· 4+ years of proven object-oriented software design and development
experience

· Experience with financial transaction based application preferred

· 4+ years of proven design, development, and architecture experience in
Java-based technologies

· 4+ years of proven software development experience with browser-based
applications and technologies

· 3+ years of proven experience with such technologies as web services,
XML/XSLT, Struts Framework, log4j, ANT, Spring Framework,Perl, DataStage

· 3+ years leading engineering teams on complex projects

· Proven experience in building technology solutions to satisfy complex
business needs

· Must possess Oracle SQL, SQL tuning, and PL/SQL skills

· Must be comfortable working in a Unix environment

· Experience using and deploying to industry-leading application servers
such as BEA WebLogic 9.x or above

· Experience with various software development methodologies, such as Agile
or RUP

· Must be comfortable with test driven development and Continuous
Integration (JUnit, Hudson, Code Coverage)

· Willing to work in an energetic, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment

· Proven ability to support multiple applications simultaneously

· Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Client Reporting and Document Management Systems.

Keys to this Position:
1. Very Strong Web Developer with core hands on Java. This is 80%
hands-on development and 20% leading/mentoring.
2. Technical Requirements: Java, XML, XSLT, JSP, DHTML, PL/SQL. We are
seeking a well-rounded core front end generalist.
3. Experience with Business Intelligence and web reporting is a big plus.
Oracle BI is a big plus (Cognos would also be fine).
4. Leadership skills: This individual will manage a team of 3 to 6.
Strong leadership/management skills are required. However, the technical
piece is more important.
5. Financial Services experience is a big plus.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Proven Leadership, technical, design, and systems analysis skills
· Proven track-record of working with project managers, systems
analysts, and infrastructure teams to complete and deliver projects
· 6+ years of experience leading engineering teams on multiple
projects simultaneously
· 6+ years of proven object-oriented software design and development
