| In case you can't access the attachment: This position will act as an internal technology consultant on systems design for Global Markets in the area of advanced technologies. Consult with business executives as a subject matter expert, understanding company operations requirements and maintaining a broad view of how the latest technological innovations can be put into practice for the company.
As an AIO, your responsibilities will be:
• Advise Business Systems Analysts, technical managers and users to help them define business requirements and objectives in the implementation of specific area advanced technologies.
• Implement prototypes of technical solutions to business needs.
• Research new and converging technologies and make recommendations with respect to their applicability or integration with existing architecture.
• Learn new technologies and provides knowledge transfer to business users and/or developers.
• Lead groups of business users and developers in the design of advanced technology solutions as needed.
• Write white papers on relevant methodologies and technology recommendations for integration into the architecture framework.
• Maintain industry level expertise in more than one advanced technology area.
• Serve as subject matter expert in area of expertise. Work independently or with general direction on the most complex projects. May instruct, direct, and check the work of less experienced staff.
• Perform related duties as assigned or requested Skills/Experience:
• Leader and self-starter with the ability to work in team environment and independently; must have previously demonstrated management, ambition, initiative, and complex problem solving abilities.
• Appreciation and knowledge of IT concepts and MIS management.
• 7 years systems development and implementation including 3 years implementing or managing the implementation of multiple advanced technologies
• Communicating with technical managers and users
• Written and verbal communications skills;
• Able to self motivate; work in a dynamic environment.
Expertise in an advanced technology area which may include:
J2EE Java Platform; CRM; XML; IBM Websphere; Information Security; EAI (including Publish and Subscribe); Object Oriented Analysis and Design (UML); Data Warehousing; Document Management (i.e., Imaging, Workflow); Knowledge Management; LDAP; Microsoft Technologies; RDBMS's; Business Rules Engines; From: michael@jheartusa.com
