Note: this is a level 1 desktop support - not management, architect or server side engineer My client located in the Wall Street are is interviewing for a Temporary Systems Administrator to join our team for up to 5 months. . This particular role is geared towards the maintenance of desktop environment. The Systems Administrators will maintain operating stability and efficiency and ensure the security of ISE's end user corporate systems and infrastructure; conducts necessary technology research; recommends, deploys and configures new hardware and software; provides user training and support as necessary; and performs related duties as assigned. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: · The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the setup/installation and deployment of all desktop/laptop computers. · Maintain the integrity of desktop computers through upgrades, support, and new technology · Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, document, and resolve level 1 technical issues ranging from software to hardware.
· Able to efficiently manage and prioritize trouble tickets in a fast paced financial environment Required Skills Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software; · Practical experience with Ghost, sysprep and bootdisks; · Documentation skills; · · Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills; · Demonstrated ability to be a team player and willingness to lend a hand with any project; · Microsoft Certification are a plus
Required Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with system applications in a Microsoft networked environment. High level of expertise in the following areas: · Windows XP/Windows 7 · Imaging · Office 2003/2007/2010 · McAfee EPO · Strong knowledge of hardware · Familiarity with Active Directory and its administration · Familiarity with Group Policy Objects
