| Requirements | Support the Enterprise IT network engineering and operations projects for the company by managing assigned projects within scope, timeline, and budget following the corporate PM processes. Manage the project from initiation through completion regularly communicating project health to management, team members and stakeholders. This PM position requires an understanding of current corporate technologies and experience in managing technology based projects specifically in the areas of networking, systems, software, data centers, implementations and other back office business systems. The PM is expected to manage and drive projects to their proper completion meeting scope, timelines and budgets. The business is expanding rapidly and requires senior staff to support the environment. This is a challenging and growth oriented position for the right individual in a rapidly expanding company. Required Experience: · 7 - 10 years of Project Management experience in an IT environment. · Specific experience with technology based projects and budgeting · Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, Powerpoint and related software required · Ability to produce technical documentation including status reports, Charters, engineering and installation task plans, project plans, working drawings and redlines, and Visio workflow rendering. · Ability to do daily, weekly & monthly reporting to management & senior management. · Excellent communication abilities required & conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times. · Ability to manage and drive projects with minimal oversight · Ability to handle multiple complex tasks, with tight deadlines concurrently. Responsibilities: - Interacting with local IT, divisional and international staff on networking and operations activities and implementations.
- Identify risks associated with the project and develop a risk management plan to mitigate those risks.
- Develop a resource management plan and work with Resource Managers to assign resources with the requisite skills and knowledge to accomplish project tasks.
- Develop and maintain complete and detail work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts and other tracking tools required to properly manage each project.
- Keep project within scope, timelines and budget while driving projects to positive completion
- Ensure required involvement and participation from all interested and required parties (sponsors, stakeholders, SMEs, development & testing resources, resource managers & leads, PMO management).
- Work with senior management (IT and business) and Finance/ Business Manager to estimate and set project budget. Continuing through the life cycle of the project maintain project budgeting and actual spend to date.
