Helpdesk Manager( Infra ) with Servicenow.
Location: Princeton, NJ
Rate: 6 + months extendable.
Start date: Immediate.
 
Position Summary
Project Manager's primary responsibility will be to split the existing helpdesk customer base from the current Managed Service Provider (MSP) to an additional MSP.  Both vendors will execute similar services utilizing a single Service Management platform but for separate user populations.  The successful PM will ensure that service levels remain high during and after this transition and the project will include defining and operationalizing an integrated service model to be executed by both vendors.
Key Job Responsibilities
Work with internal/external resources to gather requirements for splitting, integrating and operationalizing helpdesk services.
Work with external resources to implement data migration and transition plans.
Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters.
Develops communication plans and interfaces to execute on responsibilities.
Ensures that the project is executed and managed according to Otsuka's Standard Operating Procedures, Working Practices, processes and tools.
Escalate unresolved issues to the project Lead, and Steering Committee leadership
Identify, track, and resolve project issues in a timely fashion
Develops the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, risk plan, and related project management artifacts.
Publishes periodic project status reports.
Manages the project change control process
Travel (approximately 20% Princeton and Rockville)
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, Education, and Experience Required:
Solid understanding of ITIL methodology.
Experience implementing, transitioning or operationalizing helpdesk services and service models.
Knowledge of system development lifecycles (SDLC) with general understanding in the areas of application development, database, and system design.
5+ years Project Management experience managing cross functional and/or global projects from start to finish
Intermediate computer skills with demonstrated experience in working with the Microsoft 2010 suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and Project)
Proven results as both a team member and individual contributor
Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed, multi-cultural, collaborative environment
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Ability to be highly adaptive to changing business needs
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business
 
Preferred:
Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry in the context of applying information technology and services
Knowledge of regulated/validation environments, FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11, quality standards, validation lifecycles, ICH guidelines, including GCP, GLP and GAMP
Experience with Process Excellence methodologies, e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.
 
Education and Related Experience
Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity.
Demonstrated experience working in a Global Cross-functional environment.

Summary
Senior Analyst within the Informatics Business Intelligence team has several different roles and responsibilities to fulfill. As a `user-facing' position, the primary responsibility of this individual is to meet the requirements and expectations of the Business groups he/she supports. These Business Groups range include a wide array of members of the business Management team as well as other internal Informatics teams. Although the Marketing group is the primary beneficiary of projects this individual will participate in, additional groups such as Marketing, Finance, and Compliance are served. This individual is responsible for utilizing SAP BI and Business Objects to develop and/or enhance systems and functionality of Business Intelligence to the Organization. This person must partner with both full-time internal employees as well as contracted consultants. Should have the ability to adapt to change and be capable of learning and utilizing new
technologies as required. As a senior position this individual is also expected to assist and mentor junior level staff members. The ability to create creative solutions to complex challenges is a must. This individual should be able to effectively interface with multiple Informatics and Non-Informatics groups to ensure successful delivery of all solutions. It is the duty of this position to participate in all aspects of the SDLC and to adhere to all organizational standards and procedures while ensuring quality solutions are delivered on-time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities
This employee will have the following job duties:
1. Work as a member of a cross-functional project teams through the full project lifecycle for multiple high profile projects ensuring the timely delivery of Business Intelligence solutions to the organization.
2. Adhere to all SOPs and PM best practices which include the SDLC set forth for the Informatics department. This includes adhering to all design and performance standards for system Quality and Correctness.
3. Work on multiple concurrent projects while adhering to strict budget and time constraints.
4. Proactively identify and report potential project risks/issues.
5. Continuously assess and adhere to team standards and controls and adapt to environmental changes. These standards and controls include documentation, procedures and/or PM strategies.
6. Contribute to all aspects of SDLC including gathering of requirements, business and technical assessments, complex back and front-end designs, implementations, testing, data validation, training and deployment.
7. Continuously act as point of contact for the business users and ensure adequate collaboration throughout all projects.
8. Interface with Business Users for the establishment and approval of all requirements and for the data validation of all BI deliverables.
9. Interface with various Informatics departments which include; BI Production Support/Ops, SAP Basis/Security, Engineering/Infrastructure and the Informatics CRM team.

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
* 5 - 7 years experience in technical industry with a focus on new development.
* At least 5 years of Experience with SAP BI/ BW 3.5 and 7.x versions
* Business objects tools such as WEB Intelligence and Crystal Reports
* Full project life cycle experience using an SDLC methodology
* Experience in SAP Business Objects Planning and Consolidation tool (BPC)
