Listedbelow are the upcoming February 2013 Networking Events. All meetings are opento the public, plus you are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend.
Manyof the organizations listed below offer networking meetings that convenemonthly, semi-monthly, or weekly. Try to attend at least one or two meetings aweek. Many of these groups meet in the evening, so it will not take time awayfrom your daily job search activities. Plus, they have interesting speakers whooffer valuable tips on: 1) Resume preparation, 2) Effective job searchtechniques, 3) Interviewing, 4) Post Interview Follow-up, 5) LinkedIn, 6)Branding, 7) Time Management, and various other helpful job search relatedtopics.
Think of these meetings as opportunities, sort of like going toschool, to learn something that can reduce your time in transition by learning jobsearch and interviewing skills needed to excel and standout from your competition.
