Our client in Springfield, Mass is looking for an experienced Suse Linux /
Red Hat Linux administrator with at least 6 years of experience in
Unix/Linux system administration. The candidate must also have knowledge of
Windows System Administration.
The qualified applicant will become part of the Enterprise System
Engineering Administration team provide Unix / Linux System Administration
services for an assigned set of applications. There will be some limited
on-call duties as a member of this fast moving and highly skilled team.
This is a Right to hire position.
*Qualifications*
- Unix / Linux/ SUSE 10, 11 System Administration
- Installation and maintenance of server OS experience
- Contributor to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
User Support / Problem resolution
- A minimum of 5 years of Unix experience
- Excellent experience with: Linux (SUSE, SLES), .RedHat Enterprise
(RHEL)
- Senior in Linux/Unix OS Administration
- Ability to execute and troubleshoot patching problems from all tiers
and ability to keep up with extensive patching schedule.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- CLUSTERS
- SUSE
- UNIX/LINUX
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 6 years experience. 10 years
technical experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Be advised that if you are selected by our client you will need to pass a
background and a drug test. Certain positions require that a credit check
is also run.
