An individual responsible for ensuring that project plans are defined and executed for business analysis and data collection of information about business processes and applications necessary to run those process. We will be collecting HW, Data Base, Operating Systems, Integrations and Applications to help determine Risks and the compliance to Client States. Project management capabilities, team management and knowledge of Architecture, application roadmaps and excel are required. Knowledge of Access a plus. This individual will monitor progress on all key project phases and assure timely response to all issues and opportunities that can affect the project. 7+ years experience required. Detailed Activities:
Completion of Roadmaps/Heatmaps (data collection and excel spreadsheets) using existing and collected configuration and application data for Global HR, Global Finance and Corp Systems
o Create, monitor and manage project plan and two resources focused on the same effort
o Collect & populate information into developed templates collaborating with Business & IT
o Business Analysis of Information Collected
o Creation of HeatMaps based on populated data
o No Strategy Development Necessary

RCM Technologies is looking for an PMP Certified IT Project Manager in Newark, NJ. This contract is scheduled to go through until the end of the year but could get extended.

Job Description:

The role of the project manager is to plan, execute and manage projects within the defined scope, cost and schedule. It including identifying and acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the team members and third-party vendors and consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Resources include people, materials and outside services needed to support the project.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Direct and manage project from inception to completion applying the IT Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) methodology (equivalent to SDLC)
* Define project scope and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
* Estimate cost and schedule and deliver within the defined IT Project Delivery Performance targets
* Establish project proposals, statement of work, request for proposals documentation
* Timely and accurately updates of project status, cost and forecast information in IT¿s HP-PPM project tool.
* Excellent communication skills with client, management and senior leadership
* Identify, track and resolve project issues using best practice problem-solving techniques
* Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using MS Projects
* Develop weekly and monthly project status reports
* Create, track and close out requisitions and invoices in accordance to IT Supply Chain Management ¿ Procurement practices
* Oversee the requirements definition and testing phases of the project to ensure the delivery of a quality product.
* Delegate and/or escalate tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate individuals at the right time.

Required Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:

* 3-5 years of project management experience in managing medium (>$5k) to large (>$1M) complex (multiple interfaces and users) projects.
* Experience in managing IT Infrastructure projects, i.e., server, switch and router replacements, network upgrades
* Develop and manage project schedule and milestones using MS Project.
* Manage multiple vendors, create purchase requisitions.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experienced in managing cross-functional project teams and high-visibility projects.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills

* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:

* Experience in managing utility and energy application projects, e.g. SCADA, OMS, GIS, Automated Metering, Facility Relocation, etc.
