Alysia Benninghoff asked me to share the announcement of the re-launch of CT MENG -Marketing Executives Networking Group for senior marketers with you.
Cheers, Ian
CT MENG Job Networking Group is back ... ENERGIZE Your Job Search
Prime Networking/Choice Content & Speakers
Re-launch: Thursday, June 13, 2013 10-12 AM
Weston Library: 56 Norfield Road Weston, CT
No doubt, you've heard that most new jobs, (and freelance projects) are found through networking. Although numerous networking opportunities are available, finding one that targets senior marketing executives and provides both critical content and optimal networking is unique. That's why we're re-launching the CT MENG Job Networking group. Please join our first meeting to meet, greet and discuss how the group can best fulfill your needs.
CT MENG job networking meetings are open to senior marketers in transition, as well as consultants seeking new clients. These meetings are focused on helping each other make new contacts, expand target company lists and gain competitive advantage in the job search process with the inside scoop and tips on topics like: One Minute Pitch, Getting the Most Out of Linked In, Ins & Outs of Working with Recruiters, Best Interview Preparation Ever, Raising Your Social Media Profile, Stand Out via Storytelling, Getting Your Resume to Rise to the Top ... and much more.
You do not need to be a MENG member to attend. Please spread the word to your senior level colleagues and contacts, even if they aren't MENG members.
Please bring along:
* 20 copies of your one-page summary/target co. list so people know how to help you, business cards, 60-second elevator pitch, ideas on how our Job Networking Group can best serve you
Starting in September, we will meet monthly ... upcoming meetings
* September 19th, October 10th, November 21st, December 12th
We look forward to seeing you on June 13th.
Alysia Benninghoff and Brette Westerlund
