Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP)next meeting is Tuesday, Sept 10.

NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as
learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from
all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
Our philosophy is to build reciprocal relationships where business
professionals can exchange ideas, job leads, and build networking skills.
We usually have a guest speaker discuss a topic of interest for business
professionals.
Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month
from 5:30 - 8 pm. Attendance to NFP is free.
Networking from 5:30-6:00pm with a speaker presentation from 6:00pm to 7:30.
Networking until 8 pm.
Location: The Knights of Columbus building in Newtown CT, located at 46
Church Hill Road; behind Saint Rose church to the far left.

Just Start Speaking, "the analog solution to the digital dilemma," is the
campaign to promote speaking competency in America.
This presentation introduces audiences to techniques that will help them
communicate effectively every day, defend their resume with greater
confidence and network more naturally, all by sharing the stories they
already know.
The goal of Just Start Speaking is to help redirect the trend away from
isolated, digital-only communication, back toward a balanced, interactive
oral (analog), voice to voice communications model.
Don E. Smith is a transformational coach, trainer, and speaker who enjoys
sharing his unique perspectives from a lifetime of experience with clients
and audiences alike.
As The Speech Wiz, Don provides presentation coaching to individual and
corporate clients through his innovative "Just Start Speaking" presentation
skills and public speaking program. Toastmasters International has
recognized Don E. as an award winning speaker on several occasions.
A former independent TV and film producer, he holds a Masters of Arts in
Corporate and Political Communications from Fairfield University, a Bachelor
of Arts in Communication from Curry College, and is a graduate of CoachU.
He is a former faculty member at both Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac
Universities, and currently is on faculty at both Post University and
Goodwin College.
In addition to his entertainment and academic experiences, Don E. has held
ownership, sales, marketing and communications management positions in a
