PMO Senior Project Manager (Investment Banking/OTC Derivatives experience)
Our client, an Investment Bank located in New York City area is currently searching for a Senior PMO (Investment Banking/OTC Derivatives exp) This role is to run the PMO, need candidates who have run PMO before for at least 5 years.
Required/Desired Skills
* MUST have ran 5-8 years running PMO before, not just worked inside PMO
* They want someone to help facilitate meetings, working with various groups, stakeholders etc.
* Must have OTC derivatives Knowledge, do not have to be SME
* Previous investment banking or big 4 experience is preferred (Ernest and young, IBM, Cap co, Accenture, booze Allen)
* Experience Leading meetings, run with the ball, must be able to present to all levels of the company
* Excellent Pro-active Organization skills with strong focus on attention to detail.
* Strong Communication skills,Should be able to lead a meeting within established working groups.
* Very strong PowerPoint (used to preparing decks for senior management audience) & excel skills
* Strong SharePoint skills – strong working knowledge folder structures, lists and workflow. SharePoint designer optional
* Good with Numbers generally, Able to translate financial numbers into information
Day to Day duties
* Run day to day PMO
* Development of Process flow methodology / cadence across various internal departments
* General financial services experience
* Maintaining MS Project plan
* Experience building and tracking Budget forecast and actual models
* Production of Training / Briefing materials for both an Internal and External Audience
* Production of meeting materials / presentations & associated minutes /action items
* Tracking of action items deliverables. Working knowledge of Quality Center would be good but not mandatory

* Analyze and interpret financial, tax and contractual information, i.e., annual reports, 10Ks, contracts, etc.
* Travel to client sites, as necessary, for data gathering, meetings, presentations and analytical work, either independently or with other staff.
Requirements
* Bachelors Degree in Finance
* Minimum 4 years of business experience; energy industry experience a plus.
* Computer skills: Microsoft office suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
* Creative thinker, idea generator and thought leader.
* High level of initiative, self-starter, willingness to devote time necessary to achieve defined objectives.
