Sr. Systems Analyst - Hyperion EPM
This position will primarily be responsible for designing and supporting the Hyperion Essbase reporting applications and tools. This includes working with Business Users to gather and document business/data requirements for applications (cubes), enhance existing applications, reporting, dashboards, ad-hoc query tools, etc. This position will be involved in designing new and revamping existing Essbase applications.
This role will require the ability to coordinate and facilitate design sessions with key Business Users, develop design specifications and unit test plans, and manage functional administration of Hyperion components. Additional responsibilities include periodic status reporting to Management, Business and Team Leaders. The individual will also partner with a team providing User support for Oracle EPM applications.
Would be ideal for an individual who has a strong background using the Oracle EPM tools (with heavy emphasis on Essbase and the Excel Add-in). Candidates should have a strong understanding of the overall Oracle EPM application suite, including cube design. Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with OBIEE, DRM and the PeopleSoft General Ledger application. This position is responsible for leading the technical development and design of strategic business intelligence initiatives. The position works independently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand their group's reporting needs; develop solutions for the problem, which may include changes to existing business processes; and guiding IT to implement the solution.
Sr. Business Analyst – Finance - Hyperion
This position is responsible for managing complex reporting projects that support the needs the corporation's Executive team and management. This includes performing advanced Business Analysis functions in the implementation of large reporting projects, and supporting various initiatives within the Finance department that supports reporting.
Projects will be managed following standard SDLC processes, and will be implemented across multiple systems, including Hyperion/Essbase, Teradata Data Warehouse, Oracle OBIEE, IBM Cognos, etc.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Business Analysis functions:
• Manage multiple complex reporting projects at the same time
• For each project, develop a project plan, identify necessary resources, and lead cross-functional teams to implement projects on time. This may be done independently or in conjunction with a project manager.
• Manage the requirements process, including:
• Elicit requirements from key stakeholders by conducting interviews, or determining needs based off of prior experience
