Position Overview
The analyst is responsible for the production and delivery of Fixed Income Risk, Performance, Attribution analysis and reporting. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of all fixed income asset classes, security types, including derivatives and risk concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Design and generate risk reporting and analysis for use of US FI team, FI risk committee and senior management
- Design and generate performance and attribution reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Prepare and run stress testing and scenario analysis, ex ante risk, VaR reporting and customized risk reporting for the team
- Manage daily data integrity / tolerance checks on the source data and reconciliation of analytics / data /classifications / ratings
- Liaising with the FI IT Team, third party, Investment Team on identified issues and implement the necessary action to resolve such issues
- Work directly with a third party team to customize application for FI team's approach
- Design and build custom risk and attribution reports for FI investment team as needed
- Design and delivery of quarterly Credit Analyst attribution
- Carry out ad-hoc analysis such as simulations, curve shock analysis, inflation carve outs etc
- Assist CPM on developing FI risk profiles and risk reporting for risk committee.
- Provide cover/back up for Fixed Income operational risk work and compliance related questions
- Prepare documentation on attribution and risk procedures
Position Requirements:
- Strong Fixed Income Risk, Performance and Attribution knowledge
- Strong organizational, data management, technology and analytical skills - Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance
- Excellent MS office Suite skills (Excel - VBA essential), Word, Access (desirable);
- Excellent knowledge accounting and performance applications including
Dimension is required
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Index Data vendors, Citigroup Yield Book is preferred
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
- Ability to deal credibly with business and technical users at all levels of the organization
