Overview
The Systems Administrator, Laboratory Applications, is responsible for
providing support for laboratory systems, including validated systems. This
includes system lifecycle management from onboarding through
decommissioning, inventory. The Systems Administrator leads end user support
efforts for all laboratory systems, including instrumentation and
cross-departmental applications and provides expertise and guidance on new
equipment purchases.
Principal Responsibilities
.Provides end-user application support for laboratory systems.
.Represents IT on project teams for new implementation or changes to
systems, ensuring application support model is in place prior to project
completion.
.Maintains an accurate inventory of laboratory systems.
.Ensures lifecycle management of laboratory systems, from acquisition to
decommissioning and retirement.
.Develops and documents support plans for laboratory systems. Interacts with
IT Helpdesk support to coordinate support activities and application
knowledge transfer.
.Involved in on-boarding of new laboratory equipment, including PC setup,
installation, backups, antivirus, etc.
.Ensure data management and backup plans are executed.
.Responsible for evaluating and testing applications for impact prior to
rollout of corporate wide-applications and security patches.
.Work with vendors to troubleshoot any system-related issues.
.Documents system-related activities for managing applications including
support, maintenance and changes in a manner consistent with departmental
SOPs.
.Interacts with laboratory staff and other departments as required to meet
objectives.
.Provide system troubleshooting and training as needed.
.Manage changes to validated equipment and systems by following change
management and lifecycle procedures.
Qualifications
.Detail-oriented, self-starter and able to work both independently and in a
team environment
.Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated by experience in implementing,
configuring, administering, and testing computer systems.
.Ability to prioritize competing tasks and projects
.Must have experience working directly with senior level staff
.Excellent and proven verbal communication skills
.Experience with change management processes and providing end-user support
.Experience with validated systems and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
Education / Work Experience
.Bachelor's degree in scientific or information technology discipline.
.Minimum 4-6 years of progressive levels of system administration and / or
support experience.
.Prior pharmaceutical, biotechnology or laboratory experience

Well-established Italian Luxury Fashion brand seeks organized Head of Executive Assistants to manage their NY office. This person will be responsible for liaising with their HQ in Milan, Italy while managing four direct reports within the NY office. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as an executive assistant or office manager with to play a critical role in a large organization.
Key Duties:
- Liaise with HQ in Italy, providing updates and assisting executives- Maintaining SVP calendar to ensure SVP's schedule is organized and well-kept- Setting up appointments and travel arrangements as well as reviewing those prepared by others- Reviewing and approving expense reports- Clothing allowances and personal orders for corporate office- Manage and create internal company email announcements and other similar corporate communications- Ensuring that reception area is well managed in order to keep with brand's strong image as well as to maintain a high level of detail and customer service
Requirements and Core Competencies:
- Fluent Italian (Spoken and Written)- Experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Assistant required. - Experience in a supervisory role a plus- Experience in fashion preferred. Experience in other luxury brands, cosmetics and high-end consumer goods considered.
