locations. Salary range is between $100,000 - $125,000 with bonus

The Director of Continuous Improvement is responsible for the entire
continuous improvement program for the organization. The program will
aggressively drive all locations toward world class standards through the
implementation of Lean and Six-Sigma concepts through continuous training
and coaching, delivering savings and year over year working capital
improvement.
This position will work directly (advise, train, coach and critique) with
each of 3 locations on short and long term programs to ensure that a culture
change is achieved where all associates are actively engaged in improving
the business.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to create and implement a detailed Cl plan to implement Lean and
Six-Sigma throughout all functions.
Training all levels of the organization (Executives to Operators) to ensure
the tools/methods are understood to a point where trainees can become
trainers, post training.
Constantly driving safety, quality and productivity improvements through the
consistent deployment of JDI's, Kaizen's and Projects in all locations
Implements process's to actively gather all improvement ideas and
prioritizes them based up their value to the business.
Supports all locations after improvement events to ensure gains are not lost
and any difficulties are quickly eliminated.
Develop, maintain and improve Key Process Indicators (KPI's) for the Cl
management processes to track performance and to identify and implement
improvements through DMAIC methodology.
Responsible for the leadership of the Cl team and the creation of a robust
succession plan.
Ability to travel up to 50%
Required Education, Experience, and/or Skills:
B.S Degree
10+ years hands on experience in a multi-national organization utilizing
Lean / Six-Sigma
Documented training in Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies (Black Belt
preferred) or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience with Cl Implementation and Culture Change in a
multi-plant role
Excellent communication/presentation skills
Strong computer skills - spreadsheet, database, presentation / charting (MS
Office preferred), ERP (Oracle preferred)
Strong organizational and analytical skills
A change agent with a management by influence style, with sensitivity to
different cultures (2 US sites & 1 international site)
An individual who has promotion potential for the future and an energy level
to drive results at the highest levels
Preferred Education, Experience, and/or Skills:
MBA
Operational leadership experience
Master Black Belt (Lean and/or Six-Sigma)
Multilingual (Spanish, French, Chinese preferred)
