An award-winning consulting engineering firm with major success in the fields of rail and transit; highways and bridges; water and water resources; wastewater; tunnels; environment; municipal engineering; aviation; ports and harbors; architectural services; and pipeline services. We have earned a reputation for technical excellence on some of the world's most prominent and challenging projects. A rapidly growing firm with over 60 offices throughout North America, providing a full range of engineering services, from planning and design through construction management. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team of professionals in locations throughout the US and Canada.
Our Northern, NJ headquarters is seeking a Tax Manager to be responsible for the US tax function including the following:
-Preparation of information for quarterly estimates and annual tax returns prepared by outside tax accountants for all US tax entities and joint ventures
-Preparation of annual tax provision and related schedules
-Reconciliation of tax accounts
-Respond to tax notices
-Assist in due diligence of potential acquisitions
-Responsible for all use tax reporting, 1042 and 1099 compliance, personal property tax returns
-Maintain contemporaneous documentation for transfer pricing
-Manage R&D credit claims
-Manage state and Federal tax audits
-Research and advise CFO and Controller on new tax regulations
-Liaise with tax managers of foreign parent companies as required
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and must be a CPA. A minimum of 10 years tax experience in both public/private accounting is also required.
